A to Z: Walking

(An A to Z Challenge entry)

I chose walking to highlight for me “W” exercise, because not only is it universal, but it is a great way to control your pace and place. If you need a workout that is easier, you can just go for a casual stroll, but if you need a faster workout, consider picking up the pace or conquering some hills.

If it is hot (or cold) outside, walk around the inside of a shopping mall. If you are short on time, just walk around the block. If you have no time, park in spots further away from the door to get a few strides in. If you need someplace quiet, take a stroll in a cemetery. If you  need someplace to hold your attention, walk in the city and people watch while you walk. The options are pretty much endless.
