Day 8, Wednesday: A piece of advice you have for others. Anything at all.
Nothing lasts forever.
Nothing is permanent. Some will argue that death is, but until we experience it, we cannot guarantee that either.
So regardless of the event or situation you are facing, just remember, nothing lasts forever. If you are struggling — to make ends meet, to overcome a personal obstacle, to see the good — just know it isn’t forever. That things will get better. They might get worse first, but eventually there is a cycle and your situation will improve.
The opposite is also true. If life is going superbly, things are looking on the up…just remember, nothing lasts forever. So cherish every good moment. Appreciate every day the sun shines in your life. Do not take the good moments for granted.
So regardless if your current situation is terrible or excellent or someplace in the middle — I will repeat a common theme in my posts this month: find something every day to smile about. Maybe it is the weather, or a person you love or your silly pet. Just find something to smile about, cherish those moments that make you smile. Those moments will pass, and you cannot ever go back. Make those moments count.
What makes you smile? When you are in a funk, what or who can make you smile, no matter what? Do you take special measures in order to insure that you make moments count?
